High School Sweethearts: Amanda Barrus and Rob Robinson

Rob and Amanda first started dating their senior year at Brighton High school. Two months after graduation, Rob left to serve a full-time mission in Paraguay and Amanda moved to Logan to attend Utah State University. They wrote faithfully Rob’s entire mission.

Upon the completion of Rob’s mission, he returned home and started to attend Salt Lake Community College, following which he graduated from Weber State University in Construction Management. Amanda graduated from Bon Losse Cosmetology School and Rob and Amanda were married in August of 2004.

Some accomplishments Rob and Amanda have made are building two homes (which Rob acted as contractor and laborer!), supporting each other through school, and most importantly their two beautiful children Ellie (3 1/2) and Annabelle (3 months). Ellie keeps them busy and laughing with her big personality, and they are all loving having sweet baby Annabelle with her shy little nature. Rob now works as a project manager at the University of Utah, and after 6 1/2 years of working at Bella Mia Salon Amanda said goodbye to her amazing clients to be a stay at home mom. They live in Sandy, Utah in a home Rob completed last December.

Rob and Amanda love to vacation to St. George, go boating during the summer, and have movie nights with their girls. They also enjoy getting together with friends from high school! Favorite memories they have are senior trips, spring breaks, and all the stupid ideas Rob and the guys actually followed through with!
