After graduating from BHS, Amanda received her Bachelors of Science in Math/Statistics from the University of Utah, a Masters of Science in Math from BYU, and is currently working on her PhD in Math from BYU.She married fellow Brighton '01 Alum Mike Francis in 2008. They moved to Virginia (days after getting married) for 2 years while Mike completed graduate school, and they just moved back to Utah! They have a 10 month old little boy named Dexter.
Amanda teaches math and goes to school. She loves teaching math and feels like being a graduate student is the best job in the world. She pretty much gets paid to study/work on/think about some of the most elegant and interesting stuff ever imagined.
They now live in Sandy. Amanda enjoys reading, running and playing with her two boys. She also likes to make crafts and knit.
