Senior Most Likely To: Appear on the Cover of Better Homes and Gardens

Teri Tillotson Finlayson

Following graduation from Brighton High, Teri attended Brigham Young University where she studied elementary and health education. While on a study abroad in Ukraine, she decided to take a break from school to serve an LDS mission. She served for 18 months on the beautiful Hawaiian Islands before returning to graduate from BYU in 2006.

She then began her career as a 6th grade teacher. As she taught she also pursued a master's degree in education from Southern Utah University (2010). She is currently in her fifth year in education. This year she stepped out of the classroom to accept a position as an Extended Learning Coordinator at Hillsdale Elementary in West Valley City. In this position, she runs the before and after-school programs for low income students.

In the fall of 2010, Teri married David Finlayson. Shortly thereafter they purchased a home in the Day Break community in South Jordan, Utah where they currently reside.

Senior Most Likely to be: Replaced by a Robot

Jon Godfrey:

While at Brighton, Jon loved Mr. Wood's art classes and American Problems. After graduation, he served a mission in Cordoba, Argentina. He also earned his Bachelor's of Science in Business Management from BYU. While attending BYU, Jon met his wife in a student ward. She was a cute new girl in the ward, and he used his calling as membership clerk to get to know her. "How fun is that!" They were married in July 2006 and have one daughter who is two years old. They don't have any pets, although they are considering getting some fish. Jon and his family are now living in "freakin' cold" Rochester, MN where he works at the Mayo Clinic in the professional development department. A few of his most memorable moments in the last 10 years are a trip to Turks & Caicos, getting married, and a road trip to Washington D.C.
