Bengal Bio: Jacob Shamy

After graduating from BHS, Jacob served a mission to Brasil, on the northeast coast in two states called Paraíba and Rio Grande do Norte. Upon returning home, he earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Brigham Young University and is currently working toward an MBA at the University of Utah. He runs his own business, primarily investing in residential real estate with a bit of commercial development. In early 2007 to late 2009, Jacob was privately contracted to teach real estate investing for billionaire real estate guru Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad.

In his free time he likes to do theater or movies. Since graduating he has been in 6 movies, a few commercials and over a dozen plays and musicals. His most memorable part in a play was the lead in "Into the Woods", when he played The Baker. His most memorable part in a movie was Teresh in "Esther" and the King.

Jacob's favorite memories of BHS, was going to nationals two years in a row with the cheer team.
