After high school, Lindsay attended Brigham Young University. She worked part time as a pediatric dental assistant while working towards her bachelors degree in Community Health Education. After graduating from BYU in 2005, Lindsay took a job in the marketing department of Basic Research, a company that sells beauty and weight-loss products. She began dating her childhood crush, Mitch Duckworth ('99 BHS alum) in the summer of 2002. They were married in May of 2004, and bought their first home in Draper, UT. The first addition to their family was a black lab named Tuscan. He is now 7 years old, 80 pounds, and a perpetual puppy. Their second addition was a little girl, Finnley Elisabeth, born in 2007. She is now 4 years old, and loves dancing, preschool, and doing anything mom does. The third addition to the Duckworth family was a sweet little boy, Dieter Mitchell, born in 2009. He is now 21 months old, rambunctious, inquisitive, and very entertaining.
They moved to Southern California in 2008 while Mitch attends Dental School at the University of Southern California. They spent their first year living in Newport Beach, CA. They have since moved to Pasadena, and have been there the past two years. Lindsay loves living in L.A., taking her kids to the beach, checking out the museums, attending television tapings (Ellen, American Idol, SYTYCD), discovering the city, being outside, and running year round.
Lindsay has many memorable moments from her time at Brighton High. They include bus rides to/from games, cheer competitions, Women's Association assemblies, dances, sleeping on the football field, painting the giant rock, bon fires, lake powell trips, cruising in the F-350, drive-by's, and so many wonderful memories with her amazing friends.
